Message	They're aluminum and can be polished, but since they get hot all the time they will oxidize in no time. When aluminum oxidizes it gets a brittle, white, powdery material on it. Have you ever noticed how fast your brake disk rusts? Well the aluminum will oxidize quickly too. You are better off painting it.
